thermies (say, that rhymes with undies...)
Thermies
Thermometers! Thermometers! The speed at which the mercury moves. Oh so very fascinating to this fella from the tchamboody tribe, however you spell that bloody tribe's name. Pray tell me, have you ever seen anything quite so exciting to your sense of sight? Not even perverted porn pics (3 p's as opposed to PIN2's 2 pretty p's) can beat the sight of mercury gushing up, or slowly slithering down, its narrow capillary tube. Just imagine, if you overheat it, it would burst forth in such great gushing streams that you'd get mercury splattered all over the table, just like in the movies (you know the type I'm referring to). Oh, to hold a thermometer in your fingers is the greatest joy a bettied boy will ever know¢¢. How can you just sit there knowing that "Immersible - made in France" thermometers exist? Hey, I'm talking to you! Yeah, get your eyes off the screen and get a thermie today. While stocks last. Please read and understand the prospectus before buying a thermie.
Okay, so betty's today wasn't as boring as usual. Most probably because of the most complex, state-of-the-art, instrument involved. Once again, I love thermies, I love thermies, . .... ........
¢¢But of course, *she* could be an even greater joy. Because...
...she sighs the song begins,
She speaks and I hear violins,
She's so lovely!
The stars desert the skies
And rush to nestle in her eyes,
She's enthralling!
Without a whipping whip or clothes too tight,
Fantastic things begin when she is in sight!
O, this heart of mine was doing very well,
The world was fine as far as I could tell,
And then quite suddenly I met her,
And heck my heart is all a flutter!
Damn, I better get out of this
Before I lose sight of beauties
Like.... darn, it's only HER!
And so I can think of no other.

Love can be a blessing,
But also most depressing,
And I don't mind confessing
That I feel mighty Blue!
It's only human for anyone
To want to be in love
But who wants to be
In love in vain?
At night you hang around the house
And eat your heart out
And cry your eyes out
And wrack your brain.
You sit and wonder
Why anyone as wonderful as she
Should cause you such misery & pain
I thought that I would be in Heaven,
But I'm only up a tree
Cause it's just my luck to be
In love in vain!
